Samsung Galaxy F42 5G runs by its own SoC MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It comes with an octa-core processor featuring a dual-core Cortex A76 at 2.2GHz and Hexa-core Cortex A55 at 2.0GHz clock speed built with a 64bit architect. In the GPU section, Samsung uses its graphics Mali-G57 MC2. This phone comes up with Android 11 based on Samsung OneUI 3.1. It claims that it may price for 6GB+128GB at INR 20,999. It also says that an 8GB+128GB storage variant at INR 22,999. The retail price of this phone may differ from the online prices.
In-camera section, the rear camera house compact with 3 camera sensors. The main camera is a 50MP camera sensor featuring an f/1.8 aperture, followed by a 5MP wide-angle lens featuring an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor featuring an f/2.4 aperture respectively.
